My future profession
Everyone wants to live happily and nicely. Firstly, the education is most important for it. Secondly, we must choose our future profession successfully. There are many useful and nice professions. A teacher, doctor, builder, lawyer, economist and engineer etc.
When I was a child, my mum said “you should become a doctor. It’s a wonderful profession. If you become a doctor you can help to many people.” But I didn’t want it. Also, I didn’t understand chemistry. Chemistry is the most important subject for children who want to become a doctor. But I liked math a lot.
Now, I study at the University of Science and Technology. I’m going to be a telecommunication engineer. Nowadays, mobile service is being developed very quickly in Mongolia. So a telecommunication engineer is very useful profession. I think, engineers have to be hardworking and careful.
If I study hard, I can become a good engineer. And I want to learn English very well. Because I can’t get good job without English. So I must try. My future life will depend on it.
I hope, I’ll become a good engineer and I’ll have nice life.

Mongolia
Mongolia is a wonderful country which is situated in Central Asia. It borders with Russia and China. Mongolian nature is very beautiful. There are many high mountains, hills, rivers, lakes, green forests make it a perfect holiday destination.
There are four season in Mongolia. They are summer, winter, spring and autumn. Mongolia has continental climate. The summer is very hot and the winter is very cold.
Mongolian people are good looking. Most of them tend to be tall with yellowish complexion, brown eyes and dark hair. Mongolian people are very friendly and hospitality.
Mongolian population is over 2.5 million people. Most people in Mongolia live in the capital city Ulaanbaatar. Ulaanbaatar is situated between four mountains and it means “Red hero”. Today, the city’s population is over million people. The centre of the city is “Sukhbaatar Square”. Ulaanbaatar is cultural, economic and educational center of Mongolia. There are many tall buildings, schools, museums, theatres, temples and shops in UB. The “State Department Store” is the biggest shop in Mongolia which is in center of UB. It is divided in many parts. They are supermarket, bookshop, jeweller’s , florist’s, art and souvenir shop, boutique and antique shop etc. The tourists like Mongolian art and souvenir shop.
Mongolia consists of 21 aimag. Aimag means countryside. Most of the people in countryside live in Mongolian ger. Mongolian ger is easy to move and build. The men usually herd cattle and, women milk cows and prepare diary products.
Mongolian food is very delicious and many kind. Mongolians like eating meat and drink milk tea. They usually eat flour and vegetables with their meals. Mongolian traditional foods are buuz and khuushuur. Mongolians also eat diary products a lot.
Mongolian people love to enjoy themselves. In their free time they like watch Mongolian traditional wrestling and Sumo wrestling on TV. Mongolians celebrate many holidays throughout the year. “Tsagaan Sar” is the most important traditional holiday in Mongolia. Tsagaan Sar is Mongolian New year. People clean home, make a lot of buuz and buy gifts before Tsagaan Sar. During this holiday people usually wear traditional clothes and everyone greets each other.
Naadam is the second important traditional holiday. Naadam consists of three kinds of sports. They are traditional wrestling, archery and horse racing. Mongolians like this holiday very much.
Mongolia is a beautiful country with it has rich cultural history, stunning nature and blue sky.

1.Use the simple past tense to talk about an event that happened at a certain time in the past.-өнгөрсөн тодорхой цаг хугацаанд болж өнгөрсөн үйл явдлын тухай ярихад жирийн өнгөрсөн цагийг хэрэглэнэ.
I played tennis last Sunday.- Өнгөрсөн бүтэн сайнд би теннис тоглосон.
They went to America 15 days ago.-Тэд 15 хоногийн өмнө Америк явсан. .
2. Use the simple past tense to talk about an event that happened regularly in the past.-Байнга тохиолддог байсан үйл явдал,хэвшсэн байсан зүйлийн тухай ярихад хэрэглэнэ.
When I was a child I played tennis a lot.-Би хүүхэд байхдаа теннис их тоглодог байсан.
3. Use the simple past tense to talk about the ability that someone had in the past.-Хийж чаддаг байсан зүйлийнхээ тухай ярихад мөн жирийн өнгөрсөн цагийг ашигладаг.
When I was a child I could swim.- Би хүүхэд байхдаа сэлж чаддаг байсан.
Verbs in the past time- ӨНГӨРСӨН ЦАГИЙН ҮЙЛ ҮГ
The verbs in the past time are divided into 2 parts, say regular and irregular.-Өнгөрсөн цагт үйл үгийг дүрмийн ба дүрмийн бус гэж 2 ангилдаг.
The past times of regular verb is formed by adding –ed to infinitive form of verb-Дүрмийн үйл үгийн анхны хэлбэр дээр –ed залгаж жирийн өнгөрсөн цагийг үүсгэнэ.
Open+ed=opened
Answer+ed=answered
-If verb ends in –e, when –ed is added –e is dropped. -Хэрвээ үйл үг –e –ээр төгссөн бол –ed залгахад –e нь гээгдэнэ.
Love+ed=loved
Live+ed=lived
-Verb ending in –y is added –ed, then –y becomes –i –Үйл үг –y-аар төгссөн бол –ed залгахад –y нь –i болж өөрчлөгдөнө.
Study+ed=studied
-If verb ends in –y which a vowel in front of it, the –y generally remains unchanged-Хэрвээ –y-өмнөх үсэг эгшиг бол –y өөрчлөгдөхгүй.
Stay+ed=stayed
-When a word of one syllable ends in a single consonant, the consonant is usually doubled when suffix –ed is added-Нэг үетэй үйл үг ганц гийгүүлэгчээр төгссөн бол –ed дагавар залгахад гийгүүлэгчийг давхар бичдэг.

Greenland
Greenland, called Kallaalit Nunaat in the Inuit language, is the largest island in the world and the closest piece of land to the North Pole. Much of it is above the Arctic Circle, where the sun isn’t set at all during the summer.
Greenland was discovered by Eric the Red, a Viking from Island, in 982 AD. He called it “Greenland” in order to make other people want to go there.
Greenland has very cold climate, with heavy snowstorms and winter temperatures as low as minus 35C. Even in summer, the temperature in the north only reaches 3-4C.
Greenland has almost no tees or grass, and very few species of animals can be found there, although seals and whales are common in the seas around the island.
An enormous ice cap covers nearly 85% of the island. In some places, the sheet of ice is more than 3 kilometers thick. Melting ice forms glaciers around the edges of the ice cap. In recent years, however, scientists have noticed that the glaciers have being melted much faster than expected. If the melting has being continued so quickly, it could cause then level of the world’s ocean’s to rise, and produce a global environmental disaster.
We must protect our environment
People say our earth is our second home. Everyone cleans their home everyday, but they cause many problems to their environment. If polluting continued, people, animals and plants couldn’t be survived. So our environment must be clean.
Now our space polluted a lot. Air pollution is in big cities. Ger district and car’s smoke causes air pollution and breathing is very difficult. Especially, in winter air is polluted more than other seasons. Because, ger district's people use many coal. So smoke increases. I think, the government must concentrate to this problem. The government should ban cars and should build many apartments. If they did it, air pollution would decrease.
Litter is also a big problem. People drop their litter everywhere. We must put our garbage in the bin. And if there were more bins, there wasn’t so much litter on our streets. And we must recycle our garbage. If each person tried our environment would be clean.
And one of the biggest problems is water shortages. There are many people die everyday because of clean water shortages. In recent years, there are many rivers have dried up. Because people cut trees and world has being warmed quickly. We can’t live without water. So we must save water and mustn’t pollute it.
Our earth is our home. So we must protect our environment and must love our earth. If we did it, we and our children will live healthy and safely.

What kind of animals useful for us?
Some people really love animals. They adopt animals at home. There are many pets: dog, cat, fish etc. Mongolians have been raising five kinds of animal for many years. They are horse, sheep, goat and cattle. Everyone knows these animals are very useful.
Firstly, we use their milk, meat and fur. Milk, meat is people’s daily needs. And the raising animal is countryside’s people’s profession. They sell wool and make dairy products and supply it for other people.
Also Mongolians have always been fond of their horses. And the think the horse is the best company for people. I think the camel is wonderful animal which can live without water many days.
Fortunately, the raising these animals aren’t easy. Mongolia has very changeable climate.
In very hot summer, plants grow badly. So the food is decreased. In the winter is herding cattle is very difficult. The spring is very important season when the female livestock give birth. Because herders want to increase the number of flock.
All in all, the livestock are need for all people. If people raise livestock, these animals can help people’s life.
