My future profession
There are many interesting and useful professions. A secretary writes letters, answers the telephone and meets people. A porter is a hotel worker who carries the bags of the travelers. A surgeon operates the sick people a fire fighter tries to prevent fires by inspecting building.
I like the profession of an engineer. I began to think about my future profession at the age 16. I was born in a family of engineers. I have been interested in going to his work with my father since I was a girl. I study hard to become an engineer of telecommunication.
I have another dream. The dream is to become a high school teacher. It’s very interesting for me because I like teaching the other people. I also want to get this job.
To become successful in profession, firstly I must study hard at university. After graduating I am going to study at master course level. Secondly I can organize my own private life. Although I should learn importance of studying profession.
Nowadays good expert is one of the most important things in public life. In other words for this engineers must be skilled and hardworking. I want to do my work doing things which I like. I think that I want to live a happy life. That reason why I study hard to get a nice job someday .

Mongolia is an independent country. It has traditional wonderful customs and rich history. Mongolia is located in central Asia bordering with Russian Federation and People’s Republic of China. The territory of Mongolia is larger than territories of Korea, Japan and Great Britain together. Our country has four seasons with continental climate. Today the population of Mongolia is 2.4 million .Most people live in the Ulaanbaatar city.
Mongolian people are good looking. They are tall and with large bodied. They have got black hair, brown eyes and yellowish complexion. The Mongolian people are hospitable and kind to us. In former times Mongolians camtured many countries and established great empire. So Mongolians are powerful nations.
Mongolians celebrate many holidays. They are Tsagaan sar ,naadam, New Year, Independence day etc. Tsagaan sar is most important holiday in Mongolia. It’s celebrate with family together. Before Tsagaan sar we all clean our home, make a lot of buuz and buy gift.
Mongolian food is very delicious and includes many kinds of diary products, Boodog, Khorkhog and Buuz. The main drinks are milk tea, Airag , Khoormog and Saam. Mongolia has continental climate. So meat product is an important food of them.
Ulaanbaatar is the capital city of Mongolia. It’s located between four mountains. The name of the city has changed many times. It was Urguu, Huree, Da huree, Niislel Huree etc. Ulaanbaatar has 9 administrative districts with hundreds of factories, big shops, markets, organizations, universities, museums and modern buildings. It has been the largest and the most important center of political, economic and cultural life in Mongolia.
Ulaanbaatar has many kind of shops and markets. There are small food shops, supermarkets, department stores etc. the third and fourth street in UB is shopper’s town with plenty of large department stores. Shops in Ulaanbaatar are usually open 24 hours till about ten in the evening from Monday to Saturday. You can buy the everything in UB. They are very cheap.
In resent years foreign tourists like to visit Mongolia. About 500 people visit Mongolia every summer. June and September are the most pleasant times to visit Mongolia. Many tourists come to enjoy our pristine nature, blue sky and sunshine. There are many places of interest for them visit. They are Kharkhorum, Yoliin Am, Terelj, Elsentasarkhai and other places.
If you want to stay in the countryside a tend will be needed in the evenings. Because they can be chilly. Welcome to Mongolia.

Graduation ceremony
Last September I graduated from university. I was a day that my friends and I had all been looking forward to for ages, and we were proud to be there after three years of hard work.
On the morning of the graduation ceremony, I arrived early and met my friends outside the main building. We went to a large room where they gave us our black caps and gowns. After that we wrote our names in the graduation book and went off to get ready for the ceremony.
Two hours later, we were sitting in the huge graduation hall, waiting for the ceremony to begin. We smiled at our parents who were sitting on the balcony watching. Once all the students had sat down, the university officials came into the hall. The chairman of the university gave a speech, then he started calling out names. One after the other we walked up to the stage and collected our degree certificates. Then everyone cheered as we went back to our seats. Finally, there were some more speeches before we all went outside into the university gardens take photographs of each other.
We were all extremely proud, happy and excited to have graduated, but we were sad too. Graduation meant that we weren’t students any more. It was the end of our university days, but it was also the beginning of something new.

Our earth is our home. Our environment must be clean. Mongolia’s natural environment remains in good shape compared with that of many other countries. We must protect our environment. There are many big and small rivers, green forests, high mountains and lakes in Mongolia.
There many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problem is pollution of air , water and soil. Air pollution is common in developed countries but our country has already became one of these countries. The smoke of ger district and car fumes are the cause of an air pollution. The polluted air does great harm to people’s health.
Water pollution is also problem. Fresh water must be drunk by people. There are many reasons causing this problem such us: cutting down forests, wasting water resources and the pollution of lakes, rivers and seas with chemical garbage. The polluted water causes diseases and death.
Nowadays global warming is a dangerous problem. Main causes of this problem are an air pollution and a hole in the ozone layer. The ozone layer protects us from ultraviolet light coming from the sun.
We have the right to breathing clean air, drinking fresh water and living with happy. Many people are trying to protect the environment must . So In my opinion the government must decide these problems
Tsagaan sar
Tsagaan sar is most famous holiday in Mongolia. Everyone like this celebration.
The festival of the lunar New Year, Tsagaan Sar, is celebrated in or around February depending on the Mongolian lunar calendar. Tsagaan Sar, meaning White Month or Moon, is one the main two big public annual events, next to the Nadaam. It marks the end of Winter and the beginning of spring and the new year´s cycle.
The day before New Years Day is known as Bituun, meaning “to close down”. At the eve of the old year there is a celebration called Bituuleg. There is a big amount of “covered food”, where the meat is covered by for instance a layer of dough. Also the Ul Boov is created: a pile of ceremonial bread (boov) in an odd number of layers. Later traditional games can be played, and oral histories are told. It is said that at Bituun Baldanlham, a local god, is riding her mule during this time. She would be coming by three times so every family puts three pieces of ice on the top of the door of the ger, or on the balcony for people living in an apartment, for the mule to drink.
On the morning of the New Year traditionally the head of the family goes outside and walks in a direction which is prescribed in a book of Buddhist astrology. During New Years day itself the children honour their senior relatives. They start with their parents and then following the rules of genealogical seniority the other relatives, traditionally presenting them an amount of white food or pastry, but nowadays more and more other gifts as well. White and blue scarves, khadag, are presented to the most honoured. The rest of the festival which goes on for several days, is a celebration of present kinship. It is an occasion to publicly define your kin.
A Buryat person once said his kin-group is all the people he visits at Tsagaan Sar.
Traditionally the celebration would last for three days, but a period of seven days is currently aloud for visiting people and up to a month for wishes.
